We ask Student Upstarts about what they do and they offer advice to students looking at the possibility of starting their own business.

A young but experienced entrepreneur who founded his first start up while at university, Alex is essentially the person many of them would like to be as they prepare for life out in the real world. In total, Alex started up five businesses and is currently focused on Student Designers, a company working to help design students build their experience, exposure and skills. As the Financial Times put it in a recent article, “entrepreneurs are the rock stars of the decade”. At the inaugural Kairos Society UK Conference, which took place last month and hosted debates on innovation, science and entrepreneurship as well as a panel discussion on the future of education, there was a great comment that caught our attention. |
